Thank you for trying out MacStim. If you have not registered this version, then it will act like a demonstration (ie crippled) copy. In the demo mode, MacStim will allow you to do everything that the full version does but will only last between 5 and 10 minutes before politely quitting. Thus you can try everything that exists in MacStim, but if you want to use it consistently for experiments, you may find it very annoying to keep restarting it.
If you do decide that it will assist you in your experiments, then please send the purchase amount (or a purchase order if you are an institution paying for it) of US$299 (+ shipping & handling if you wish me to send you a disc too (a flat fee of US$15.00)), and your preferred registration name (see below) to:

You must include a contact method so I can send you the correct password to allow you to overcome the protection. I prefer your email address so I can send the correct code through the internet, but a fax number will do. Please send your title & name, preferred name for registration (at least 7 letters), and address (preferably email) so I can keep you informed of updates which will be posted on the Internet. These will be obtainable via anonymous ftp at: sumex-aim.stanford.edu in the info-mac section (?under Science) or mirror sites; and also, thanks to the generosity of Dr Mark Cohen at the UCLA Brain Mapping Division, via his web page at http://mingus.loni.ucla.edu. You will be able to follow similar instructions each time an update is posted.
If you have received your password, then follow these instructions to register your copy:
1. Open the Preferences dialog (under the File menu, or command-Y)
2. Click the Register… button at top right
3. Type in the name and password code that you have received.
4. Click OK
5. Click Set As Default button (bottom left button of Preferences dialog) to make the registration permanent.
From now on your copy will be personalized (for that machine) and will work as long as you like. Contact me for more details about multiple licenses etc.
